Welcome to our 2011-12 Annual and Sustainability Report.
This report is designed to provide you with easy to read information
on how we performed over the past 12 months in our custodianship
of Western Australia's State road network. We take a comprehensive
look at the services that were delivered to the Western Australian
community over the past year.

We remain committed to being recognised as a sustainable, transparent and responsive organisation. We want to keep stakeholders, the community and the Government well informed of our operations. This report highlights, recognises and addresses any successes, challenges and opportunities that we face. We continue our efforts in Sustainability Reporting by fulfilling the requirements of Application Level B of the Global Reporting Initiative Index Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. The report content is governed by our reporting processes that cover content materiality and inclusiveness. We begin with the Year in Review presenting a snapshot of our performance and financial highlights, together with a summary of our performance scorecard. The remainder of the report is structured in keeping with our Corporate Governance framework to showcase how we direct and manage our business activities to optimise performance, regulate compliance and deliver value for our customers and are categorised as follows:
